EASSW AWARDS 2025

On the occasion of the ECSWE 2025 to be held in Salzburg, the EASSW launches again the three EASSW awards to honour educators, students, researchers, professionals, volunteers or service users who significantly contributed to the quality or innovation of Social Work Education in Europe.

The awards consider three different categories: the ALICE SALOMON AWARD for innovative teaching, student exchange or practice learning experiences in Social Work Education, the RESEARCH AWARD for published research contributions on Social Work Education and the STUDENT AWARD for student project or theses.

For each award category a maximum of three award nominees will be preselected by an award judging panel. The contributions of the awards nominees will be published on the ECSWE conference site and the award winners for each category will be voted by the conference attendees during the conference in Salzburg in June. A prize of 400 € and a free EASSW annual membership or free registration to the next ECSWE conference in 2027 will be offered to all three award winners.”
